Pokémon merchandise bays coming to GAME to celebrate series’ 20th anniversary

High Street retailer GAME has partnered up with The Pokmon Company for the franchise’s 20th birthday.

From Friday, March 25th, consumers will be able to pick up a limited edition Pikachu Pokmon card (pictured), marked with the Pokmon 20th branding.

This is free with any Pokmon-related purchase in participating GAME stores.

Speaking of Pokmon merchandise, participating GAME stores will be featuring special bays featuring just that.

Pokmon launched in Japan 20 years ago, and to date the franchise has sold 279 million units– 201 million of that is the mainline series. Two new entries – Sun and Moon – are launching for 3DS at the end of the year.
