Project Spark microtransactions scaled back

Xbox One title Project Spark has undergone some changes to its microtransaction model.

OXM reports that developer Team Dakota has removed the cap on ‘Spark Time’ which effectively limited the amount of time players could spend on the game without paying up.

Tokens that allow for the unlocking of some in-game items can still be purchased with real money, although all are available as unlocks for those who meet the in-game requirements.

The ‘Spark Power’ system has also been altered. Now known as ‘Spark Premium’, it grants XP bonuses and extra upload slots for a fee, although this has been reduced.
