Razer opens beta for Synapse data tracking feature

Razer has released an open beta for new data tracking functionality in its Synapse software.

Razer Synapse: Stats and Heatmaps allows users to collect data in order to track and share their mouse and keyboard stats, as well as recording how gaming devices interact with their games.

Some of the actions tracked and analysed by the software include mouse clicks, key presses, distance traveled on a mouse surface and more.

The information gathered can be displayed as raw stats or as an overlay on an in-game screenshot, showing ‘hot spots’ to help gamers improve their gameplay performance. Players can also share the information via social media from within the software.

Existing users of Razer’s Synapse software can opt into Stats and Heatmaps for free.
