Release date for first Gears of War 3 DLC

Microsoft has dated its first DLC for recent release Gears of War 3.

Called The Horde Command Pack includes three extra maps for use in the online multiplayer Horde Mode. Also included are four Fortification upgrades, three new MP characters and two new weapon skins.

It will cost 800 Microsoft Points and be released on Xbox Live on November 1st.

Of course, those who shelled out 2,400 MS Points for the Gears of War 3 season pass will get the content – and the three additional DLC releases planned for the game – for free.
