Resident Evil: Revelations announced for home consoles, PC

Resident Evil’s 3DS debut – Revelations, is headed to the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC, Capcom has announced, confirming rumours that have been doing the rounds for a while.

While the game will receive a boxed release across all platforms on 24th May, it will only be available digitally for PC and PS3 at that time. No release date has been announced for the digital version for Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Resident Evil: Revelations was well-received by critics, drawing several comparisons to Resident Evil 4 in the process.

The console and PC version will include bonus content such as a new enemy, an additional difficulty mode, as well as new characters and weapons for the game’s co-op Raid Mode.

Revelations will also support stat-tracking and rewards via Residentevil.net, which launched with Resident Evil 6.
