Rising Star announces GO Series

Rising Star and Gamebridge have announced they will launch a new range of DSiWare titles next week.

The GO Series will feature high quality downloadable games from a variety of renowned Japanese studios, including G-mode, ArtePiazza, SUZAK and TOM CREATE. Between them, they have produced well-know games from leading franchises such as Wario, Dragon Quest and F-Zero.

The first title in the series will be 10 Second Run, a platformer with a strict time limit, which will go live in Europe on September 3rd. This will be followed by strategy title Defence Wars on September 24th.

US dates have yet to be confirmed, but each title will cost 200 points in both markets. A compilation trailer promoting the range will air on the European Nintendo Channel on Wii today.

The GO Series offers great casual games for great value,” said Rising Star MD Martin Defries. We are really pleased with the studios that have come together to create this series and we’re looking forward to getting these impressive casual games into the hands of European and North American gamers.”
