Siri – Apple’s agent of corporate espionage?

Remember all those ‘hilarious’ questions you’ve asked Siri over the last few months? Apple certainly does – it’s listened to them all.

Apple’s iPhone Software license Agreement reveals that: When you use Siri or Dictation, the things you say will be recorded and sent to Apple in order to convert what you say into text.”

So not only does Apple know all too well that you’ve been asking about the most reliable Swedish penis enlargement techniques, it also knows about any questions you may have posed that are work related.

Including those which hint at secret or yet-to-be-announced projects, potentially at least.

Wired reports that technology giant IBM has cottoned onto this and as a result has banned employees from using Siri in the workplace.

Indeed, the American Civil Liberties Union has already issued a warning about Siri, saying that it could potentially be collecting very personal data from iPhone owners.
