Skullgirls Encore PS4, Vita editions delayed to 2015

Skullgirls Encore will miss its previously scheduled 2014 release window on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, developer Lab Zero Games has announced.

A post on the US PlayStation blog confirms the upcoming PlayStation editions have been pushed back to an early 2015” window. Lab Zero explains the delay is due to the expanded scope the port has taken on over the course of development.

The studio had some good news for fans of the fighting series as well, revealing that the PS3 version will receive Eliza as a playable character later today. Eliza is the third character the team has developed in connection to its successful Indiegogo campaign.

As with previous Skullgirls DLC character releases, Eliza will be free to owners of the game for the first three months and offered at a cost following that.
