Sony Computer Entertainment America has launched a new third-party production team for PlayStation platforms.
Headed by former LucasArts lead producer Gio Corsi, the new team will work with the firm's publishing partners to help bring their IP to Vita, PS3 and PS4.
Partners will also be able to use staff at the new branch to help with their own development process.
One of the first projects currently underway is Gearbox's Borderlands 2 for Vita. Corsi said consumers can expect to see more ports, new IPs and localised products on PlayStation platforms thanks to the scheme.
