YouTube will finally arrive on the PlayStation 4 later this year.
The long–awaited app will become one of the official social options available to PS4 users via the Share button.
Players will be able to upload their in-game footage directly to YouTube using just their controller.
Users will also have access to a dedicated PS4 application similar to that available on the PS3. Viewers will have access to all YouTube channels and the ability to search through all videos and livestreams.
A ‘What’s New’ feed will also keep PS4 gamers up-to-date with their friends’ shared YouTube videos as they’re uploaded.
Sony revealed the YouTube PS4 app would arrive this autumn but promised more info is on the way.
