SouthPeak and Paradox make amends

The legal row between publisher SouthPeak Interactive and developer Paradox Interactive has been resolved, with the former agreeing to pay up.

SouthPeak previously failed to pay Paradox $585,000 it had collected from sales of its games due to insolvency. Paradox then filed a lawsuit against SouthPeak.

However a new statement released by the publisher said both parties had reached a mutually agreeable resolution,” dismissing the lawsuit.

"We are pleased to have reached an amicable conclusion," said CEO of Paradox Fredrik Wester.

"SouthPeak’s ability to settle this matter swiftly is a tribute to their professionalism and their sound financial integrity.”

Chairman of SouthPeak’s Board of Directors Terry Phillips added: "We are pleased to have resolved this matter quickly and to be able to move forward with a focus on continuing to grow our business."
