State Of Decay hits 1m copies sold

Undead Labs’ hit zombie survival game State of Decay has surpassed 1m copies sold.

Games Industry reports on the milestone, which counts both the XBLA release as well as the Steam Early Access version on PC.

"As we said at the half million mark, we are humbled by your continuing support and enthusiasm for the ideas in State of Decay," said Sanya Weathers, community manager for Undead Labs.

Undead Labs has announced that the game’s first expansion ‘Breakdown’ will land before the end of the month, barring any catastrophes.”

According to Undead Labs founder Jeff Strain, the first State of Decay DLC pack has been submitted to Microsoft for pre-certification testing. Strain expects to submit the DLC officially for certification at the end of next week, pending bug fixes found during the initial testing period.

The studio is also reportedly developing an MMO with the working title Class4, though little has been revealed about the game.
