Team Bondi goes into administration

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is reporting that Team Bondi has entered administration after a notification of discharge on 26th August.

Develop reported recently that Team Bondi was allegedly going to be acquired by KMM Studios, the Australian developer working on Happy Feet 2.

Although the company’s status with ASIC was still active at the time, Develop was informed that it can take up to 28 days from a company filing its administration forms to be entered into the system and become public.

Today, Team Bondi’s status has been changed to ‘Under External Administration and/or Controlled Receivership’.

While there is still no official word on the acquisition by KMM or the future of Team Bondi’s sister company Depth Analysis (which was responsible for the Motionscan technology first seen in LA Noire), this confirms that the developer is indeed closing its doors.
