Telltale’s Game of Thrones is out next week

Last week we had a trailer and this week we have a release date – for next week!

Telltale has named an assortment of release dates for the first episode in its licensed Game of Thrones series. The game will be released on PC and Mac next Tuesday (December 2nd). It will arrive on PS4 in North America on that day, too.

On the following day (December 3rd) it will hit Xbox One and Xbox 360, and also make its PS4 debut in Europe. On Thursday (December 4th) it will arrive on iOS.

The Android version has not yet been dated.

Last week the studio has also confirmed that a number of the HBO show’s stars will feature in the first episode – Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Heady (Cersei Lannister), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow). Other cast members will appear in the later five episodes.

Players will take control of five members of House Forrester from the Wolfswood north of Westeros amid the events of The War of the Five Kings, spanning from toward the end of the third TV series and the beginning of the fifth. Locations such as King’s Landing and The Wall will feature.
