Trion Worlds hits 1m sign-ups

MMO developer and publisher Trion Worlds has announced that more than one million user accounts have been registered with the company to date.

This massive audience suggests a high level of interest for the firm’s first release, MMORPG Rift, which arrives on March 4th.

The announcement was made as the game’s Head Start period begins, which gives pre-order customers early access to the MMO’s servers before the official launch. There are 28 Head Start servers now live, where players can experience the full game.

Rift is a unique MMORPG where random events can permanently change the in-game world.
