The head of US gamers' consumers group the Entertainment Consumers Association has said that he knows of two more games companies that are planning to leave US publisher body the Entertainment Software Association.
He said: "It's really concerning for all of us. Anyone who cares about the games business should be concerned about what's going on with the ESA.”
However EA's VP of communications Jeff Brown stuck up for the organisation, saying it was "unfortunate" that some industry leaders have left the body and adding that for EA, "there's no thought of leaving the organization”.
The ESA declined to comment when contacted by MCV.
