Ubisoft announces Assassin’s Creed 3 season pass; now on PSN Store

In a trend that is becoming increasingly common across games with multiplayer components, Ubisoft today unveiled the season pass for its upcoming epic Assassin’s Creed 3.

The season pass provides access to all forthcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 downloadable content at a discounted bulk price.

The pass is now available on the PlayStation Store for PS3 at Rs 1,499. It will be available to Xbox 360 (2400 Microsoft Points) on 31st October and PC on 22nd November.

Included in the season pass is The Tyranny of King Washington”, an episodic single-player continuation broken up into three DLCs. The campaign will let players experience an alternate history of the American Revolution.

In addition to this and other single player DLC, there will also be new maps and characters for the game’s competitive multiplayer modes.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is scheduled for release on 31st October for Xbox 360 and PS3, with the PC version to follow on 23rd November.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation for the PS Vita, featuring an different character and story line, releases the same day as the home console versions.
