UBISOFT: Just Dance 2016 adds world’s first ‘dance on demand’ subscription service

Just Dance is now the biggest music video game franchise of all time.

That’s according to publisher Ubisoft, who once again brought the dancing rhythm game to its E3 press conference.

This year’s instalment, Just Dance 2016, was confirmed to be heading to ‘all motion platforms’.

This includes smartphones, which can be used as a motion controller in lieu of a Kinect or Wii Remote, as well as all consoles.

Pop star Jason DeRulo also made a surprise appearance to promote the game, performing his latest single and telling the crowd that he was a ‘big fan’ of Just Dance.

A new streaming service is being introduced: Just Dance Unlimited.

The ‘dance on demand’ platform will provide regular updates and new content in return for a subscription fee.

Just Dance 2016 is coming to platforms including the PS4, Xbox One, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 in October.
