Update: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist stepped out of the shadows a little earlier than expected, with Ubisoft revealing the game with an action-packed gameplay demo at Microsoft's E3 media briefing.

Developed by Ubisoft Toronto, the latest in the stealth action series seems to retain many of the gameplay features from the previous game in the series - Conviction, such as the 'mark and execute' mechanic.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set for release in Spring 2013. More will be revealed at Ubisoft's presser a short while from now.
