Red Dead Redemption is spending its second week at the top of the ELSPA GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40 this week, having successfully fended off a number of new entries in the UK listings this week.
Most successful amongst the contenders was UFC's popular fighting series UFC 2010: Undisputed, which manages an impressive second place finish in its debut week, knocking 2010 FIFA World Cup down a place to number three.
Sony's ModNation Racers slips two places to 12th in only its second week, while EA's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 slips out of the Top Ten to 11th. Its fierce rival Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, conversely, climbs five places to rocket back into the Top Ten in seventh.
You have to venture a little further down the listings to find two other high-profile releases. Sega's action RPG Alpha Protocol debuts at number 13, one place ahead of Activision's new racing IP Blur in 14th.
Namco Bandai's Clash of the Titans managed a 37th place finish in its first week. Ubisoft's brave foray into the sports market, Pure Football, failed to hit the All Formats Top 40.
