Codemasters has released the first footage of upcoming racer F1 Race Stars.
The game sits nicely alongside Codies' mainstream simulation series by offering a more colourful, cartoonish take on the genre.
It also takes some liberties with the licence, with real-life stars featuring bobbleheads and doing loop-the-loops around (obviously) fictional circuits. Also on offer will be Mario Kart-style power-ups that can either give the players an advantage or disadvantage the competition.
More traditional Grand Prixs and competitions are also available, as is four-player split-screen racing. It also integrates with Codemasters' RaceNet for sharing stats and achievements with friends.
F1 Race Stars will be released on November 16th.
