Wasteland 3 fully funded in just three days

Wasteland 3 has successfully been funded on Fig to the tune of $2.75 million after just three days.

The campaign for the party based roleplaying game was launched on October 5th, seeking $2,750,000. At the time of writing the total raised stands at $2,819,926, with 24 days left on the campaign, meaning the total raised will probably be considerably higher than that.

Stretch goals have now been added to the campaign, with $3 million adding a new talking car companion to the game and $3.1 million adding customisable ranger squad insignia.

"Wasteland 3 represents the most ambitious title that we have crowdfunded so far," said Brian Fargo, CEO of inXile Entertainment. "We wouldn’t be here without our fans and backers carrying the torch and we want to continue to repay them by making the best role-playing games possible. With Wasteland 3 we aim to over-deliver like never before."

The big new addition for Wasteland 3 is multiplayer. Two players will be able to play through the campaign together, each controlling their own rager squad. Players will be able to go on missions together or split up to conquer the world quicker.
