After last week’s confirmation that Call of Duty will be returning to World War II for its next instalment, today’s the day when players can finally get their first look at Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: WWII.
The official reveal will livestreamed around the world from the London IMAX tonight at 6pm UK time – and you can watch it right here in the YouTube video below. The livestream will also be running on Twitch and Facebook.
Developed by Slegehammer Games, who previously worked on Modern Warfare 3 and Advanced Warfare, the livestream will give players a first look at Call of Duty: WWII, with studio heads Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield on hand to explain Sledgehammer’s vision for the game.
Call of Duty first debuted way back in 2003, and it’s been nearly ten years since the series has been set in a World War II scenario. Ever since 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the series has used progressively more contemporary settings, with last year’s Infinite Warfare taking the franchise into space.
