Watch Dogs price, preorder bonus announced, Rs 1,799 for PC

Pricing for Watch Dogs has been confirmed for India, with a variety of preorder bonuses being offered by retailers.

The open-world action game will retail at Rs 2,999 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and Rs 3,499 on PS4; standard stuff, but the PC version has been priced higher at Rs 1,799.

As a comparison, the most recent Ubisoft triple-A release – Assassin’s Creed 4 – was priced at Rs 1,499 on PC, and it appears the difference is due to a global price increase for the PC version by the publisher. The PC version is available on Uplay for 59.99 Euro as opposed to the earlier 49.99 Euro price point.

As far as preorder bonuses go, Amazon is offering three DLC packs via vendor Games The Shop – Cyberpunk player pack, X2 pack (includes Dedsec and Chicago South packs), and the Untouchables pack.

Flipkart is yet to commence preorders for the game, but has listed the Dedsec and Chicago South packs as preorder bonuses.

Snapdeal (via Games Universe) is offering the Untouchables pack on Watch Dogs preorders, but the PC version is still listed at Rs 1,499 there.

Watch Dogs is set for release on 27th May. Ubisoft recently released a trailer showcasing the 60 minutes of bonus content that will be available with the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game. Watch it below.
