We Dance features revealed

Just Dance rival We Dance will feature a host of modes to ensure it stands out in the increasingly competitive dancing game genre.

Publisher Nordic Games has announced that the title will boast four-player multiplayer, 40 dance tracks, warm up sessions, ‘Dance School’ tutorials, leaderboards and three party modes – ‘Jump’, ‘Step’ and ‘Pose’.

It is also compatible with Nordic’s Star Mat dancing peripheral.

The Wii exclusive was officially announced last month and is due to hit UK shelves in May. It will go up against Ubisoft’s Just Dance franchise which has been a chart success, but Nordic is confident the title will be able to distinguish itself in the growing dance game market.

We Dance is more than just a straightforward dance game as these features prove,” said Nordic Games’ sales and marketing director Nik Blower.

The genre is ready to be taken to the next level and this announcement today, along with our future plans, will demonstrate that we’re a step ahead in the music and dancing game genre.”
