WWE, Saints Row up for grabs as THQ IP go under the hammer

Several of THQ’s popular IP will be auctioned individually after a buy-out for the bankrupt publisher fell through.

THQ properties such as WWE, Company of Heroes, Metro, Saints Row and Dawn of War will be auctioned on 22nd January. The publisher is also said to have several unannounced games under development.

EA and Warner Bros are said to be interested in snapping up one or more of the above, with Ubisoft also having shown interest in the past.

According the distributor E-xpress Interactive, THQ is scheduled to release Metro: Last Light and Company of Heroes 2 in March, but no release date has been revealed for either.South Park: The Stick of Truth is also set for release in the first half of the year.
