Microsoft has teamed up with Seagate to offer a hard drive specifically designed for either the Xbox One or Xbox 360.

The drive offers 2TB of additional storage and is coloured in brand-appropriate Xbox green. It also carries the Xbox logo. The US price is just $110, with availability kicking off later this month.

It can connect to either console via USB 3.0. When coupled with the more recent versions of Xbox One, that gives gamers a really quite sizable 3GB to play with.

PS4 only offers limited support for external hard drives, allowing for the copying and storing of data but not for the installation of games. Users can, however, manually install a larger internal hard drive.

Xbox One owners are already able to hook up third party hard drives to their machines, the majority of which are supported for all functions.
