FIFA 19 is at the top of the UK charts for its second week on shelves, with its sales dropping 64 per cent week-on-week, which is slightly better than FIFA 18’s 69 per cent decrease between Week One and Two last year.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey had to settle for No.2 for its debut, with sales down nearly 26 per cent compared to Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Week One sales. Origins didn’t have to compete with early sales of FIFA in 2016 though as it launched later in the month, on October 27th – something Ubisoft couldn’t do this year, because that would mean competing directly against Red Dead Redemption 2.
Xbox One exclusive Forza Horizon 4 debuted at No.3, with sales slightly up (1.24 per cent) compared to launch sales for 2016’s Forza Horizon 3. It’s a very strong start for the title (you rarely see physical sales going up year-on-year these days!), which is just 4,500 copies from Assassin’s Creed.

These achievements are a testament to the craft and ambition of the latest release of the Forza franchise, the world’s biggest racing IP.”
Spider-Man took the fourth place, with sales down 37 per cent week-on-week, followed by Switch exclusive Super Mario Party, which entered the charts at No.5 with sales up 70 per cent compared to the previous entry in the franchise, Wii U’s Mario Party 10.
Further down the charts, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise and Astro Bot Rescue Mission respectively debuted at No.21 and 22.
