Codies strikes F1 Middle East deal

UK publisher Codemasters has struck a deal with AXO Entertainment and Modern Electronics that will see the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC release of F1 2010 released across the Middle East this September.

Both gamers and motor sports enthusiasts alike have been looking forward to F1 2010 since we announced the acquisition of the license back in 2009 and AXO and Modern Electronics are perfect partners to bring the game to the Middle East,” Codemasters’ director of distributor territories and emerging markets Hal Bame stated.

Formula One is the world’s biggest sporting brand and everyone at Codemasters is extremely excited to bring the world of F1 alive, both on and off the track.

F1 2010 is truly a game for everyone, and with the Middle East hosting both the first and last races of one of the most exciting seasons in years, we expect the GCC region to be one of our key markets throughout the world.”
