Console giant announces new entertainment partners such as Nickleodeon, Paramount Pictures and Machinima

E3 2012: Microsoft extends Kinect voice search to 12 languages

Microsoft has revealed a more robust Bing search program for the Xbox 360 with 12 new languages to be introduced to Kinect.

Users can now command their Xbox 360 to search for films by genre and title, and can search through multiple providers such as Netflix.

As well as searching for movies, users can also stream live NHL and NBA games from the start of each sporting season.

Other entertainment partners include Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and Machinima.

The deals are part of Microsoft’s plans to expand the Xbox 360 to a complete entertainment hub rather than just a games console.
