Console giant looking to change how people interact with its consoles

E3 2012: Nintendo adds Netflix, Youtube and Hulu to Wii U

Video streaming services such as Netflix, Youtube, Hulu and Amazon Video will be available on Nintendo Wii U, it has been revealed.

Nintendo president of America Reggie Fils-aime said that the services would be available on the company’s next gen system as it looks to change how people interact with the console.

The announcement shows that Nintendo is looking to take online functionality more serious with its latest console, and moves the console away from just a gaming platform, and into a full entertainment system.
