Microsoft has kicked off today’s E3 press conference by revealing a newly designed Xbox 360 and affirming its commitment to the current-gen console.
Yusuf Mehdi, senior vice president of Microsoft’s Online Audience Business Group took to the stage to briefly detail the new form factor of the Xbox 360, which is "Designed in line with the Xbox One."
"It’s smaller, sleeker and quieter than ever, and it’s available now," he said.
Mehdi also revealed a coming deal that gives two free game downloads to new and existing Xbox 360 Gold members, including titles like Assassins’ Creed 2 and Halo 3.
He also asserted that 100s of new games are coming to 360 in the coming years, including Batman: Arkham Origins, GTA V and the newly reveal version Wargaming’s hugely popular MMO World of Tanks, which is now optimised for Xbox 360.
