Another day, another No.1 for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
For its second month on shelves, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot collection was the best-selling title of the PS4 Store in July, both in the European charts and US rankings. In June, the N. Sane Trilogy managed to take the top spot with a single day’s sales, having released on June 30th. It also claimed its fourth UK No.1 earlier this week, and is at the top of the UK monthly charts for July as well. However, the success of the N. Sane Trilogy didn’t have an impact on Activision Blizzard’s financial results yet, with consoles sales for Q2 down 13 per cent year-on-year.
Meanwhile in the PS4 Store rankings, usual suspects Grand Theft Auto and Rocket League landed respectively the second and third spot, while Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Mortal Combat XL re-entered the charts at No.8 and No.9. There’s only one new entry in the PS4 Top 20, Elite Dangerous, which landed No.16.
In the PS VR charts, Superhot VR debuted at the top spot, having launched on July 19th. There’s another new entry at No.5, Vertigo Games’ hit Arizona Sunshine, which was announced for PS VR in May and released on June 27th.
