Dark Souls III western release set for April

Dark Souls III will launch in Europe and North America on April 12th, Bandai Namco has revealed.

The game will debut in Japan a few weeks earlier, arriving March 24th for the region.

Publisher Bandai Namco has also announced three special editions of Dark Souls III. The first is the Apocalypse Edition (exclusive to GAME), which features the title, a metal case and a CD with the official soundtrack.

The Collector’s Edition comes with the game itself, a Red Knight figurine, an artbook, soundtrack, iron patches, a cloth map and an exclusive box.

Meanwhile, exclusive to Amazon is the Prestige Edition, featuring al the goods in the Collector’s Edition on top fo a 40cm Lord of Cinder resin figure.
