Destiny attracts biggest Twitch launch audience of 2014

More people have watched streaming Destiny footage on Twitch in 2014 than any other new game launch.

It was viewed nearly 20m times in its first week, with 5m unique viewers consuming nearly 240m minutes of gameplay.

It was revealed on Wednesday that the game sold $325m worth of stock in its first five days, leading to the best weekly sales of PS4 hardware in both the UK and US.
