Deus EX gets Augmented Edition

Fans of the Deus EX series will undoubtedly be keen to get their hands on a new Collector’s edition SKU of the game that has just been announced by Square Enix.

Called the Augmented Edition, it will include a 44-minute making-of DVD, the official sountrack and a 40-page art book and 10,000 extra in-game credits. So far it has only been confirmed for the US.

In addition, the publisher has revealed a pre-order incentive for the standard game.

Those who put down money on the game early will receive the digital Mission Pack which grants players access to an extra character, the Automatic Unlocking Device, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED) and the Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher.

The Augmented Edition will include all of this content plus some additional items – the Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the SERSR Longsword Whisperhead silenced sniper rifle.
