Rockstar North is back on top of the sales charts yet again this week thanks to the continued success of its blockbuster game Grand Theft Auto V.
Ubisoft Montreal have taken second place meanwhile with its open world shooter Far Cry 4, and EA Canada has taken third spot with the latest entry in its evergreen football franchise, FIFA 15.
The top 20 was once again dominated by publisher-owned studios, though independents accounted for six of the studios, one more than December.
Seven studios in the chart are based in the UK, which are Rockstar North, Traveller’s Tales, Ubisoft Reflections, 4J Studios, Sumo Digital, Evolution Studios and Playground Games.
The USA was represented by five studios, Japan by four, Canada by three and France by one.
