Annual Casual Connect event with Moore keynote expects big attendance

1,200 expected at July Casual Games event

Activity is building for this year’s Casual Games Association event, Casual Connect, with the organisers announcing that they expect 1,200 attendees to the conference.

Taking place from July 17th to 19th in Seattle, the event has already pulled in a keynote from Peter Moore at Microsoft and has presentations from Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids’ Steve Youngwood, Atari founder and current uWink founder Nolan Bushnell, and co-founder and director of PopCap John Vechey.

The event aims to bring together industry leaders including execs, publishers and developers as part of the Casual Games Association’s remit to promote casual games and encourage the market’s growth.
