Company continues hiring spree with new top-level executives.

CastAR hires trio of new talent

Californian mixed reality start-up CastAR have hired a trio of video game and technology hires to bolster its ranks.

The hires are Peter Dille, Mel Heydari and Arnie Sen.

Dille is perhaps the biggest hire, and is stepping in as CastAR’s new CMO from the same position at mobile ad company TapJoy. Dille has over 2 decades of video game management experience and was a key part of both the PlayStation, PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Network.

Heydari will be joining the company as the new head of talent, having worked for giants of tech like Twitter, Tesla and Google.

Sen will be signing up as the VP of engineering, and is best known for his work at Activision, where he worked on the prototyping and launch of both Tony Hawk: Ride and Activision’s original Skylanders concepts.

CastAR has been on a hiring drive in recent months. Back in September the company opened a studio in Salt Lake City, staffed largely with former Avalanche Software developers.

"We continue to build out our executive ranks with industry all-stars," said CastAR CEO, Darrell Rodriguez, in a canned statement. "We’re building something truly special at CastAR and Peter, Mel and Arnie are the type of executives that will take our vision of a mixed reality platform in every household and make it a reality."
