Broadcaster's new publishing arm All 4 Games keen to meet developers at November 12th event

Channel 4 looking for games to sign at Interface

Channel 4 is hoping to find the next big moblle hit at the upcoming return of Interface, Develop and MCV’s successful content marketplace event.

The broadcaster has recently launched a new publishing arm, All 4 Games, and will be hosting one-to-one meetings at Interface in order to meet developers with promising games.

All 4 Games is one of several publishers that will be on the hunt for new signings, alongside Sold out, 505 Games and Kiss.

Colin MacDonald, head of All 4 Games, will also appear during the Interface conference, giving a talk entitled ‘Common traits of successful games from a Channel 4 perspective’, in which he will reveal more about what the new publisher is looking for.

“I’m looking forward to explaining how All 4 Games can help indies promote their games to the Channel 4 audience,” said MacDonald.

Brought to you by MCV and Develop, Interface will take place on Thursday November 12th at St Mary’s Church, near Baker Street and Marylebone Tube/Train stations. The interactive content marketplace, which combines funding advice, private pitching, conference sessions, games showcasing and more, returns after a successful May debut which attracted some 300 games professionals.

Interface is structured to be as affordable as possible for games businesses of all sizes, with the basic indie expo pass free and indie tickets for the meeting system (which guarantees you a day’s schedule of private meetings with publishers looking to sign new games) priced at £59 +VAT. Indie game expo spaces are £199 + VAT and include involvement in the meeting system.

For publishers and larger studios, an expo pass is £20 + VAT, and the meeting system rate is £149 + VAT. Publishers looking to host meetings for the day pay £500 + VAT.

The Interface Meeting System is at the heart of the day, with private meetings between delegates and hosts. NewBay Media take all the details of attendees and hosts and matchmake them, based on requirements and needs.

Plus there’s a conference and public expo running throughout the day. Further speakers will be announced over the next couple of weeks.
