Social mobile gaming platform Scoreloop signed up more than 1.3 million new users across iOS and Android over the Christmas period.
The company says its new user signups spiked by 209% on Christmas Day compared to its November average.
What’s more, Scoreloop’s virtual currency revenues jumped by 216% over the holiday season too.
"This holiday season, consumers made it more clear than ever their interest in smartphones and appetite for mobile games," says CEO Marc Gumpinger.
