Blood Bowl team to helm up PC and console title in absence of Sherlock Holmes dev

Cyanide takes over Call of Cthulhu development from Frogwares

Like its titular monster rising from the sea, Lovecraftian adventure title Call of Cthulhu has re-emerged with a brand new studio behind it.

Publisher Focus Home Interactive unveiled the PC and console effort at the start of 2014, before going dark on the project for more than two years.

Now, a new website for the game – spotted by VG247 – has gone live, with Blood Bowl and Styx developer Cyanide seemingly replacing the original team from Sherlock Holmes creator Frogwares.

Like Frogwares, Cyanide has a long history of working with Focus – it will work with the publisher to bring Styx sequel Shards of Darkness and Space Hulk: Deathwing to PC, PS4 and Xbox One this year.
