After 10 years on RPG series, writer decides “it’s time for something new”

David Gaider dropping Dragon Age for secret BioWare project

BioWare’s David Gaider, one of the lead writers on the Dragon Age series, is moving onto a mysterious new project within the studio.

Gaider has been involved in the RPG franchise since the original Dragon Age: Origins but his responsibilities will now pass to colleague Patrick Weekes, according to Polygon, while he works on an unnamed title.

The writer revealed his changing role on Twitter:

BioWare is known to be working on a new Mass Effect title, as well as a brand new IP.
