ChaYoWo's new base will host 100 staff by the end of December

Dev outsourcer establishes new casual games studio

Indian outsourcing firm ChaYoWo has established a new studio in the country dedicated to casual games.

ChaYoWo Games’ new dev center and studio is located in Kochi, Kerela, two hours from India capital Mumbai.

The new facility will boast 100 staff by December, the company said, saying its game designers, artists, animators and programmers will be offering development, game art and animation, and testing outsourcing services to causal gaming companies in the US and Europe.

Plus, the new team will be working on developing ChaYoWo’s proprietary game development efforts.

“Our new game development center and studio offers our employees a workspace with state‐of‐the‐art technology and robust collaborate working spaces to interact with each other to develop games for our clients and partners. The new space also features a separate dedicated area for R&D for new game ideas, drawing space, and ‘hang out’ areas throughout the office for casual meetings between team leads and their staff”, commented Gaurav Mirchandani, co‐founder of ChaYoWo Games.

Jugul Thachery, co‐founder and MD added: “Our new delivery center in Kochi will help in increasing employee productivity and customer confidence. The new gaming studio of ChaYoWo Games will be used to bring out more casual games under the ChaYoWo Games brand apart from providing outsourcing solutions to our customers across the globe.”

The firm already has a deal signed with two casual games firms for full production of new casual titles.
