The 2015 edition of Develop 100 is available, listing the most successful games developers in the world.
For the tenth anniversary of our popular ranking we’ve strived to created the most comprehensive, definitive list of gaming’s most bankable studios, basing the listing on a mixture of revenues generated and reviews accrued – both based on new releases between September 2014 and August 2015 – as well as industry standing and reputation.
The list covers all platforms, with young mobile companies standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the biggest and longest-running names in video games.
Print editions are included with every copy of Develop’s 15th anniversary issue, which lands on desks today. You can also read the full publication for free in your browser.
The big winner was Clash of Clans developer Supercell, which is close to generating more than $2bn this year alone. We’ll have a full interview with Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen later today.
