Final call for submissions and suggestions for the 2008 Develop Industry Excellence Awards

Develop Award lobbying – Hurry up!

Final call, ladies and gents: The lobbying deadline for the Develop Industry Excellence Awards is at the end of play tomorrow, Thursday May 15th.

Taking place on July 30th, the awards are the only peer-voted prizes rewarding the achievements of games developers in Europe.

Provided your studio released a game or games in the past year, or contributed to the business in some way during that time, you’re eligible to lobby for a nomination – whether you are independent or in-house, tools company or service provider.

Lobbying is simple – simply send through a short text pitch to Develop’s editor at Michael.French@intentmedia.co.uk. Don’t forget – do it now, in fact. Jot down 100 words or so and fire it over. We’ve had lots of submissions so far, but make sure you haven’t been left out.

There are awards for best new IP, best art, best audio, best tools provider (open to companies around the world), best independent developer, best in-house developer, technical innovation and many more. If you need to find out more about the awards and need background on each of the 17 prizes available, click here for our recent guide How to Win a Develop Award.

To book your place at the awards, or find out about the number of premium sponsorship packages available email Jodie.Holdway@bhpr.co.uk.
