For any readers who might not know you, tell us a little more about your company and its goals.

We’re a specialist, award winning recruitment agency with over 14 years’ experience. Based in the UK we supply to studios locally and internationally, working to strengthen their teams and support the growth of the industry. We love what we do! Our expertise covers all areas of technical, creative, commercial and strategic roles and we have a deep understanding of the games market. What differentiates you from similar outfits? What’s unique about you?

What excites and/or encourages you about the games industry and games development today?

The continued evolution of this sector inspires us. We love seeing smaller studios grow and it’s also great to see the rise of next gen consoles, facilitating the growth of social elements across all platforms. The games industry is progressive, multi-faceted and engaging and this is what we aspire to be too. We’re next gen!

Looking at the Develop Awards finalists, what does it say to you about the industry and development today?

The games industry has definitely changed over the last 18 months with more and more finalists coming from new startups. There are some really innovative IPs and game ideas that companies may not have previously green lit on established platforms. It’s certainly exciting to be part of honouring the brightest and best talent in our industry and looking around the room during the evening it will be great to see so many new faces being part of the awards.

Do you have a message for the finalists?

Good luck this year, it’s a fantastic achievement to be nominated by your peers and don’t get too nervous about facing over 500 people on stage if you win! It will be an amazing night regardless of the outcome.

Was there anything else you wanted to say about your company and the Develop Awards?

We love being part of this amazing industry and the awards is a fantastic time to get together to celebrate achievements. Here’s to a fantastic night and to sharing it with everyone there.
