Could you introduce your company to our readers who might not know your role or goals?
NaturalMotion is a games and technology company with offices and studios in Oxford, London, San Francisco and, of course, Brighton with Boss Alien.

NaturalMotion Games creates record-breaking mobile games. Our most recent releases include the number one-grossing racing game, CSR Racing, and we have many other really exciting games in development.

NaturalMotion Technology produces leading animation software Euphoria and Morpheme, both of which feature in many of the leading blockbuster console games

What distinguishes your company from similar outfits? In other words, what’s unique about your organisation?
NaturalMotion Games mobile titles are among the most graphically rich and accessible in the industry. We focus on ultra-high quality, free-to-play, 3D games and always aim to set new standards for a mobile gaming experience.

What excites and/or encourages you about the games industry today?
The level of innovation and the rate of change across all areas of the industry. The changes to the free-to-play market in particular have been striking over the past two years, and we’re seeing a lot of hugely talented console developers making the move to mobile with us.

Looking at the Develop Awards finalists, what does it say to you about today’s games industry?
The finalist list is very exciting. It really highlights the variation of gaming experiences this year, and it’s great to see so many mobile games in it. It also highlights how much quality and talent there is in the industry today, across many more platforms than ever before.

Do you have a message for the Develop Awards finalists?
I wish everyone the best of luck and hope they have a great night! See you there.

Was there anything else you wanted to say about your company or the Develop Awards?
We love Brighton. Boss Alien are locals here, so it’s always good to see the rest of the UK industry amass in Brighton for the awards and spend some time by the seaside!

The Develop Awards will take place on July 10th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton.
