Key political parties set for game industry showdown

ELSPA Question Time: One week to go

There’s only a week to go before three main political parties head to BAFTA’s London HQ to discuss the game industry’s most pressing issues.

Hosted by ELSPA, the Videogames Industry Pre Election Question Time 2010 will host a panel of three key MPs: Labour’s Tom Watson, Conservatives’ Ed Vaizey and Lib Dem’s Don Foster.

The Q&A session, set for the evening of March 29th, gives industry professionals a chance to grill MPs about the future of the industry, and are invited to ask questions on a range of topics.

One of the defining battle rounds for the session will undoubtedly be the sensitive issue of game tax breaks, an issue which neither Labour nor the Conservatives appear to be fully backing, for now.
