Gamebryo group stands by prediction that 2010 will be a record year

Emergent upbeat with â??global financial growthâ??

Gamebryo vendor Emergent says that its upcoming financial report will exceed expectations.

Figures have yet to be released, but the California-based tools provider told Develop “growth was witnessed in all territories.”

It added that the “strongest and broadest expansion” came through North American and Asian markets.

Late last year the group revealed that jobs will go at the technology firm, following a spell of restructuring.

Emergent has since enjoyed a steady expansion in profits.

“I stand behind my previous comments that 2010 will be a record year for Emergent,” said the firm’s CEO Scott Johnson.

“Developers have confidence in our technology, and this has been validated by the number of companies signing deals to begin development on LightSpeed,” he added.

“Emergent is comprised of driven people and the company is hitting on all cylinders right now. Expect big things from Emergent as we make additional moves to solidify a leadership position.”
